Changing the unit changes which stories survive

In dollars, an energy chart tends to end at the next macro headline. In sats, the same chart keeps asking whether the cost of energy is rising because energy is scarce or because the denominator is moving.

That is the reason to keep the series together. It is not a replacement for the dollar market. It is a second lens that makes monetary drift harder to mistake for an oil story.
